Yes, it is almost certainly the best cheese shop in the area. But you need to have a bit of time... for the queues.

I love this store. It's 3 feet from where I live in the antique quartier in Grenoble. They have everything you need for aperos, charcuteries, cheese, wine, The staff are friendly and helpful, you'll find lots of locals here. The hours are very convenient, they open early in the morning for breakfast :) or if you want to take some... More

For cheese lovers, amateurs and also viewers and ethno-socio scientists Well worth a visit - avoid 23 and 30 december although queuing gives time to enjoy encyclopedic display of cheese varieties Note: other excellent cheese shop in Rue Bayard and on local markets to be visited

The selection of cheeses was almost overwhelming but in a delicious sort of way. Shop keepers were happy and there was a small group of locals shopping! You can also get charcuterie and a small selection of wines. Perfect stop to pick a picnic!
