Not much is discussed about what life was like in the “unoccupied” portion of southern France in WW2, but this museum tells this story. When you enter, you are given the opportunity to use an audio guide in English. As you go through the museum,...More

The museum is a well-organized and well-documented account of German occupation during WW II and personal audio-visual accounts of men and women in the resistance. The English audio guide is essential for English speakers who are not fluent in French. Less than a block west...More

A must see when in Lyon! The stories of those who were there were memorable and moving. Translation of text to English was excellent.

Lots and lots of detailed information about World War 2 in the Lyon area. Interesting historical documents and pictures. Too much information to read and to absorb in one visit.

This was a well done presentation of the French resistance and life in Lyon at that time. It would have been a five if they had printed English next to each display with the French. Because even with the audio tour guide, I didn't feel...More
