Charming - but touristed. Off course. The shops are mainly restaurants, pubs and cafe - not designershops or similar.

Cobble stone streets which are narrow, and something new to discover with every turn. Comfortable shoes recommended. Must stop at one of the cafes.

Loved seeing all the silk shops and the bakeries and sweet shops. Charming old town in a busy modern city. Lots to see as you walk.
