Who doesn't want to take a funicular? Go from Old Town up the hill on your metro ticket - save your legs for the walk down or take the other line down. Romana ruins and the basilica at the top.

Great tram ride to the top, one to the left that goes to the Roman ruins, and the one on the right going to the Cathedral!

We were thrilled to be able to take the Funicular to the top of the hill to where our car was parked after walking Old Lyon for several hours. It's also just fun to ride in.

We wanted to take the funicular to the top to see the Basilica. The ticket machines were not easy to use. I think I was charged double. I got two receipts but only one set of tickets.
