we came once with all the slopes green - only schools for kids were skiing, so we have spend several day walking around, and this was our favourite walk - great views of Megeve, very nice pictures...

The tourists visitor center provides a book that describes the various hikes in the area. This is a nice hike that offers a beautiful view of the city and mountains. Wear good hiking shoes, bring water, and wear a hat.

This is a very special walk, and I did it on Palm Sunday, which gave it a special significance. Not for buggies or the faint hearted, the uphill walk leads to a series of little chapels, with life size plaster figures inside depicting the stations of the cross, leading to Christ' s crucifixion. The scenery is stunning, with seating and a restaurant half way. If you like a flavour of the local, not just the mass tourist sites; this is for you.…
