It’s small but nice. It’s an unusual church as some of her windows were designed for military defence - you’ll enjoy your visit!

This is a small church, very quiet and peaceful. When we visited, someone was gently singing, absolutely beautiful. Well worth a quiet moment when visiting Pérouges.

My husband and I were on a walking tour of Perouges and after receiving a detailed map from the Office of Tourism we discovered this beautiful and historic church built in the 15th century. What a magnificent photo op of the church in the background and the cobblestone streets in the foreground. According to available information, "The main entrance to the town was defended not only by the Porte d' En-Haut gateway but also by the fortified church dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Battlements and loopholes allowed the town's defenders to use the House of God to rain arrows and bolts on attackers." We enjoyed the stroll and taking a "breather" sitting on the bench by the cross. Don't miss this beautiful and historic site!…

Lovely little church within Perouges village. Beautiful stain glass and ceilings. Get there early to avoid the noisy crowds

It's quite old but few distinctive features inside that we could see in the dark. The building is the main interest. They sell little souvenir candles.
