TDC's Teen Academy was brilliant for our two boys who are confident skiers and like to be pushed by an instructor who can tailor the skiing and terrain to suit their ability and preferences. Mike was amazing, and very quickly developed rapport with the boys, who had the luxury of a small group of 3, enabling them to cover a multitude of requests from powder to park, to carving practice. As well as some adventures along the way in terrain that you probably wouldn't get to if you didn't have local knowledge. This also enabled some adventure! If we are lucky enough to return to Val d'Isere, we would definitely want to ski with TDC again, and cannot recommend Mike highly enough. The communication from TDC pre booking was also excellent, and we very much valued the fact that they are different from standard ski schools through their ability to tailor programs.

Very professional and personable instructors (and organisers!!!!) - they all have the knack of keeping it simple, building confidence through the different stages. Despite a last minute evening booking online for the next afternoon, we had a very prompt response from Anna in the office , and Kieran our instructor in Val d’Isere. Kieran fulfilled everything that tdcski stands for. We had coaching for 2 intermediate skiers and Kieran listened to our aims and aspirations and gave us a personalised lesson to enhance our skiing and our confidence, and all delivered in a fun and relaxed way. We also really appreciated his local knowledge and showing us some great runs. If you are looking for lessons in Val d’Isere we would definitely recommend Kieran and tdcski.

This is my second year booking with TDCski and they have been absolutely fantastic for a huge range of different skiing lessons. From beginner through to advanced and off piste the instructors gave our groups 'light bulb' moment advice while being great fun to ski with. Perfect for focusing on specific areas of your technique in a morning lesson or a full weeks beginner course. We had an amazing time with TDC, and would recommend them to anyone looking to learn off-piste, or simply become a better skier. After two morning sessions, TDC had us skiing better than we have ever skied before - with the added bonus of exploring unbelievable terrain! Even two weeks after the last snowfall, we still managed to find good snow and seemed to have the mountain to ourselves at times. TDC really made our trip special, and we enjoyed it so much we booked another session later in the week! Thanks in particular to Kieran and Steve for such amazing teaching and memories.

I was lucky to find these guys on Instagram, and I can only say good things about them. I personally had the fortune of having Kieran as my partner's and my personal ski instructor. Sometimes, when hiring a ski instructor, you encounter ones who are more interested in their own ski day than in what you need. Kieran was amazing; he really helped my fiancée, Kim, learn to ski. After only two days, she could ski blues and reds. He was also very careful and always made sure we had a fun but safe experience.

After five years of coming to Val D'Isere and just skiing with friends and family, I finally took a couple of proper lessons. The TDC Group was highly recommended and we were lucky enough to get David Walker as our coach. Aside from being friendly, easy to talk to, and very experienced, he was a great instructor. We agreed we weren't going to tackle everything in two lessons, but I wanted to focus on my stance and position of my skis. By the end of the two sessions I felt like I had a better understanding of the mechanics of skiing, I had more control, and so much more confidence. I never felt over-faced, but David also didn't coddle me. I'm really looking forward to booking more lessons with TDC, and of course, hope that David will be available. TK

After what can only be described as a rather grim experience with a well known “ski school” I was just about ready to give up attempting to ski. Thankfully I was pointed in the direction of this company by a really lovely lady, who approached me at the bottom of the lift whilst I was in a bit of a state. (Absolute saint) I later learned her name was Clare Angus. I booked a private lesson with Dave W. Top bloke may I add ! What a superb experience, so much so that I booked another for the following day. He has a great approach to teaching and confidence building which was exactly what I needed. Dave totally saved our holiday! A friendly and professional company who I could not recommend enough ! From the staff in the office, to the instructors and connections - an all round great vibe! My only mistake was not booking with TDC Ski in the first place. If you are thinking of booking my advice is don’t hesitate!! I can’t wait to return next year!

My first lesson with Terry was an intro to touring day around Val d'Isere. On our second trip, we did a helicopter pick up from a beautiful lake. There's no instructor I'd rather ski with, and I've spend time with a few! Amazing
