The museum was fun for the family. Beautiful cars, beautiful views, beautiful building. You can sit inside a Porsche and take a picture and email it to yourself. They also have a station where you can rev three different types of Porsche engines, fun! But the factory tour, out of this world! German engineering at its finest. You. Will. Be.... More

Even for a car fanatic as me, the evolution of Porsche is not as if you visit BMW or Mercedes museum. I do was surprised by that they had an electric car already in 1898 and also a 4*4 car then.

Even if your not a Porsche lover this is a great place to go. The collection has road, race and rallycars. Le Mans winners, the Dakarrally winning 959, its al there. And keep an eye on the special building. It sits on 5 hughs legs. In front of the museum, at the round about there is the former Goodwood Festival... More

A really good history about cars and Porsche. Surprised to see their contribution to the Harley motorcycle. Every guest got a miniature Porsche with the entry fee. It will be only one I will ever get. The race car simulator was fun. There was a lot of construction in the area and I missed the parking turn off. Spent the... More

The much anticipated visit was a slight disappointment as it seems that the Porsche museum was an afterthought for the company. The museum is small with only a handful of the rarities that could be displayed. The best part was outside watching the various cars thundering about on the driving experiences. An ok visit but no wow factor.

Paid a visit to the museum whilst on Business around Stuttgart, the first thing you notice is the stunning Architecture, the content showcases the history of the brand and is well laid out and very informative. It is well worth the entance fee and a very pleasant way to spend a couple of hours. I paid a visit to the... More

This place is a Mecca for Porsche enthusiasts, whether you own one or wish you did. The layout of the exhibit is well thought out and easy to navigate. If you're going to take advantage of the 'Porsche Drive' element where you can rent a Porsche for an hour or more, you'll need to reserve that well in advance.

We thoroughly enjoyed the museum as well as the factory tour, which we booked ahead. History of Porsche and many, many classic versions on the floor. The factory tour was outstanding.

Several people told us this museum might be disappointing after going to the Mercedes Benz museum, but we enjoyed this very much as well. Excellent displays, and great historical autos throughout. This is a much smaller overall exhibit so it does not take as much time. One thing we learned when we went to the museum is that there are... More
