Peaceful island visit

This is a beautiful place reachable by an electric boat tour. The price and time investment are both worthwhile. The building is beautiful and the island and boat are dog friendly.

This was first stop with Königssee boat trip and it was very quiet and beautiful island. If you want to hike here you can find nice hiking trails around the island and up to the mountain. There was nice restaurant close to the docks where boat left us.

Beautiful place and church but crowded. If you are crunched on time go to the salet stop and see the waterfall and lake. We skipped staying here for a period of time and saw the other lake and glad we did because it was one of the highlights of our trip.

We stopped off at St. Bartholomae while on a board tour of Lake Konigssee. The lunch was average (service was very, very slow). The walk around after lunch was beautiful. Very nice forest and beautiful to walk around the late. Biggest downside was the line for the return. It was over an hour long. That being said, this is a... More

we took a small detour to visit that place and it was worth while going there. We only wish we had more time to explore the whole area which had so much to offer and visiting that small but lovely church was one of the highlights of our stay in that area. View of this church from the lake with... More

Church is small and pretty but very very touristy. The place is also quite damp. I wouldn't come here just for the church, but it's worth of visiting when you go at the area.

We visited Berchtesgaden and Konigssee and we also visited The ancient Church of St. Bartholomae. It is a small but verry beautiful church

The trip over on the boat from Konigsee is stunning as the mountains rise up high on either side. Half way across the guide on board stops the boat and plays the trumpet - after a pause the beautiful music echoes back through the mountain. When you get off the boat at St Bartholomae you have the option of a... More

This is very cool destination with a nice restaurant and biergarten. The staff were customer friendly and pleasant. Beware of the pilgrimage near the end of August; they can cause the wait times for the boat to be quite long.

Beautiful place on earth. Wanted to come here for years and I finally made it. Our guide on the boat was awesome and funny. I was finally able to hear the famous echo. The mountains and nature was impressive, peaceful and quiet. the only downside is that this place is a tourist hotspot and its packed. took a while to... More
