Amazing lake, stunning views and just all around beautiful!!! The boat ride that you have, you can get on and off at the different points of interest and have a walk around! The question for the boat ride does get very busy around 11/12, so...More

One of the best lakes that I have been to. The boat ride with the story enroute takes you completely in. You have the possibility to get off at a couple of points and then walk around. Is my third visit already. Awesome stuff!!

One of the most exciting land scape in Germany. Take the boat tour early to avoid long waiting lines on your return. It's enough to visit the first stop unless you're willing to walk around in the wonderful nature for few hours.

If you go to Königssee I would recommend you get the boat all the way to Salet and hike to Obersee. We arrived at around 11am and the carpark was already busy. We paid €5 to park all day. There is a change machine over...More

We took the boat from Konigsee right to the end - Salat. This is a most pleasant place with a self-service Cafe-Restaurant - great food. Everything comes from Konigsee on the boat and what a beautiful setting to have something to eat. A souvenir booth...More

We took an early boat ride and then walked from Salad to Oversee and then the fun began! This part of the lake has a rough trail with lots of uneven steps. There are cables to hold onto on each side in case you did...More

Königssee is absolutely stunning. We took the boat all the way to the Salet stop which is worthwhile as not much more expensive than buying a ticket to the church stop. At Salet, the walk to the smaller lake is not to be missed.

From Salzburg you can take a bus 841 (as I remember the bus route) and you can get in to the bus from Mirabell Palace bus stop. On the bus you can buy a day ticket. With the day ticket you can go and come back from Salzburg... More
