If you want to have lots of fun, beer and different varieties of food then this is the place to be. We loved the time spent during spring festival, well arranged and crowded area with lots of options of things to do. It started raining heavily in the evening so we were inside a tent with a litre glass beer.

A huge area where the annual Oktoberfest takes place - or Tollwood festival in Winter along with some summer events. Not really a must see.

Not for everyone but most popular for all foreigners, who come to Munich only for this festival. Lots of drunk people but exciting...

Attending Oktoberfest was one of the highlights of my trip through Europe. This was my first stop on the adventure and I do not regret it at all. Full of people, everyone is having fun, and great beer!

I had zero expectations when I found Tollwood on Google Maps after searching Christmas Markets in Munich. When the taxi dropped us off, I wasn't sure what we had been taken to. It ended up being very, very cool. There is something for everyone here. The tents are elaborately decorated and themed. There's many options for food. I've never seen... More

Somewhat disappointing compared to other markets visited. Much of what was on sale could have been bought anywhere. Did buy some local cheese, excellent but not cheap. Los of drinking and eating places. Good young nightlife. Probably wouldn't bother going for market, more of a good night out drinking.

Every trip to Munich has to include a visit to Tollwood over Christmas period. This time we managed to actually get through all the halls as it wasnt as hectically crowded. There is such a great choice of amazing food for everyones varying tastebuds...ingenious crafts and of course Feuerzangenbowles

Too much crowd, too many wasted people, aggressive behaviour, extremely high prices of the beer. That is the best time to take vacation if you live in Munich.

Theresienwiese is huge and colorful. I was there in october fest and Weihnachts ( Street christmas market ) In october fest you can find so many attractions and tasty beers. In Christmas time there are also different food and beverages such as hotwine , hot coconut with rom.
