The architecture, the crowds, the clock - it is all fun and exciting. Don't forget to visit the pubs - drink a beer and have a pretzel.

Marienplatz is a great place to start your day. Everywhere you would like to go is a short distance from this town square. This Is a great place for a picture and to start to see all of the historic sites in Munich.

The square itself was nothing special and the Glockenspiel was not that interesting or impressive, but this was a great central location for shopping, eating, sightseeing and nightlife. We got to know the public transit (easy and very accessible) so we could venture farther out...More

If you are looking for a place to injoy Your time you must visit the Marienplatz,a perfect place for shopping,very atractive historical buildings and churches which make this area a very spical and worth the visit.

You can't visit munich without visiting Marienplatz ... the clock is interesting, good restaurants and shopping centers ... everyone is here

Don't leave Munich without going there once on your trip! There were three Jewish musicians who played there and were magnificent, we really loved them! There are beautiful churches to look at and take pictures of, really a fun place to be!

Its the center of munich so its worth taking a tour marienplatz just for the view of the church and the resturants. You can continue the tour by walking to the English Garden (20min) through the Hofgarten its nice! Enjoy
