Nice Place, easy to reach with public transport. I suggest to take an audio guide. Palace has beautiful garden and small lakes (artificial) with a lot of swans and ducks.

A castle in the city. Abroad of London or Paris you will not find something like that in an europe metropolitan. A Hugh garden and historical monuments. Walk through the park, visit some classic concerts or enjoy the beautiful nature.

So lovely walking around these manicured grounds. Would be spectacular in spring and summer when the many flower beds are in bloom. Massive building but the main focus for us was the peaceful grounds.

Just a short tram ride away from the City, this is a lovely change of scene after the shops and Christmas markets! Even if you don't want to walk aroud the House itself, for which there is a charge, you can walk around the amazing grounds free of charge. There is a lovely coffee shop in the orangery with ample... it is a beautiful place to relax. A huge park you can walk for hours. and the adjacent Botanic Garden is a must to visit. One of the best I saw, in any season. But very beautiful end Spring on Fall

this palace is huge! there are dozens of bedrooms, gathering parlors, writing areas... the grounds themselves are beautiful - i can only imagine how much more when the flowers are blooming.

This is worth a look, we went in November when the gardens were not at their best, but there is a lot of history in the Palace. The main salon is spectacular.

Beautiful area, be sure and include a walk through the grounds. We were here in the fall but spring and summer would offer a floral display.

Worths the entrance fees. I spent 6 hours here. the centre hall is amazing. The carriage museum is a must! A bit disappointed the fountains were not turned on during my visit in early Nov.
