I could possibly spend a week here at Nymphenburg and still want more. The Palace and Coach Museum are both worth seeing. Just strolling the park is relaxing and beautiful. There is no charge for access to the park.

We didn't go inside but the area outside was a good walk and visually appealing. Can walk the park without admission

This place is great for a nice walk and to see the gardens, but over all it was very similar to Schönbrunn in Vienna which has nicer winter gardens and more to see outside.

Easy to reach from town center. Huge area for walking around. The palace is like all others in Europe, worth visiting.

King Ludwig had a stunning home. It was lovely visiting this Palace in Winter but I can imagine how much prettier it would be in Spring/Summer. The Palace itself is breathtaking - it also has Carriage Museum that will blow your mind! The homes that surround the Palace are simply beautiful as well. Worth visiting. A must see.

Disappointing that the palace is not open during the winter, and even the café is closed on Mondays! So we can't comment on the interior, and on a winter's day the palace presents itself as rather drab and uninteresting. Much of the garden ornamentation is covered over during winter, to protect from frost and there is no winter planting in... More

The grounds are expansive and very peaceful, with many gardens and ponds. The interior is also extravagant and gives insight into how royalty lived. The self-directed audio tour is well done. We had the benefit of traveling off season in October so crowds were sparse.

- This place is just a walk through area. - You can take a hip off bus to spend little time to be in the old days.

I went in the winter and the palace provided beautiful pictures. The scale of the grounds is just ridiculous and the buildings are beautiful. To get here, I took one of the S-bahn trains to Laim from the Main Central Train Station and then walked about 20 mins to the palace (I like walking the streets of European towns). I... More

The main floor is is beautiful, but that was all we could see in the main building. The carriage house was spectacular with all the sleighs and carriages. Truly over the top for indulgence. The china, etc up stairs was interesting, although I didn't have much time to ponder over each piece. Since it was winter, the gardens were not... More
