This small church is easy to miss, but if you are in Munich this is a must see. The baroque architecture is outstanding.

About 5-10 minutes walk from Marienplatz stands this Church standing wall-to-wall by stores and restaurants. We've seen a lot of churches on our travels but this one amazed us. It's a very small space but the amount of detail and statues is amazing. It was...More

It is located at the end of the shopping street, good to stop by but rather pretty small church. Awesome details though

This is perfect and stunning baroque. It is a small church yet every inch of it is wonderfully decorated, giving one a sense of awe and spirituality.

Truly amazing interior behind the fantastic exterior. 100% "wow" art and architecture in and out. You must see it. 10 minute walk up pleasant street from new Town Hall. Way worth this short stroll off the usual track.

I soon as walked through the door of the Church I was blown away by the interior...wow! It's like entering onto a stage set with so much going on everywhere you look; there's sculptures, paintings, Muriel's, gold, Angels, skulls and more. Well worth a visit.

Having a stroll around, my brother and I stumbled upon Asam's. It seems very out of place amid the shops, which makes it all the more fantastic. The interior is incredible --- the type of place you sit and just absorb your surroundings for a...More
