Architectural masterpiece located in the well-known Olympiapark some 4.34 km north from the city centre. If you get tired after visiting BMW Museum and BMW Welt go there and refresh yourself. Recommendation!

The facilities are simply great, for a really good price. Huge sport-swimming pool, great building... But there is a HUGE misconception in the pool: there is a current when you swim in it, and you get deported on the right and on the left while you swim. It gets exhausting to try and stay on track, which - for me... More

My 14 and 11 yr old kids are on a swim team and I thought it would be fun for them to swim laps in an actual Olympic pool. They got a kick out of that, but so did their parents and aunt/uncle. For about $20 USD a family of 4 can swim for 3 hours, which is plenty of... More

We came for a quick swim after the BMW Museum, what a great place to cool off. The pool temperature was perfect the building is showing its age but I like the changing area - all the lockers and changing booths are coloured glass. Mark Spitz broke all the records here - but alas we couldn't match him. The diving... More

I had planned on going to the Müllersches Volksbad one afternoon in September during Oktoberfest but it was closed. So I decided to check out the Olympiaschwimmhalle instead, and I was glad I did. The pool wasn't very crowded, although there were a fair number of people doing laps. That's the main kind of swimming this pool is good for,... More

Going to BMW world, then you need to stop here. This is where the US swimmer Mark Spitz set all of his records in 1972. It was the first Olympics I remember so it really sent a chill down my spine. You can also swim here; they have lap swimming and they allow you to dive.
