Great variety where one minute you can be looking at the history of the motor car, then furniture then art. The guide recordings are good value for money and bring an already interesting visit to life and with a nice cafe it is easy to spend 3-4 hours at a cost of 5 euros.

A very well organised museum where you can admire paintings from 20th century major artists among whom German painters such as Kirchner, Beckmann, Otto Dix, but also Picasso and Dali among many others.

The pinakothek is well laid out and interesting. It's not too busy and the installations are thought provoking and interactive.

The Pinakothek der Moderne was a great place to visit. I thought the pieces were interesting and well presented. I especially liked the aluminium foil sculptures made by the Japanese steel workers. Note that you can't take your backpacks in but there are lockers (for a coin deposit amount) available.

Wow. This is a museum that makes justice both as an architectural edifice but also with its collections. Its collections include paintings, sculptures and many more other. Fascinating stories unfold in front of you. Visit it on a sunny day.

A lot of interesting things to see, especially the pop art exhibition. What I liked most is the work made by 500 japanese steel workers with candy covers

The building itself is an experince of modern architecture, the 20th century art collection is quite rich but the design review is just great.

The design exhibition is very comprehensive. The rooms are curated in a minimalist way so there is no clutter or too much explanation. All the big names are here.

Large tall foyer acts like a crossroad to divided rooms that are connected on the second floor. Illuminated LED lights turns this concrete building from stone cold to cool.
