We were advised that the greenhouses are closed for renovation until October, but another part of the garden is also closed. We visited the garden with medicinal plants as well as the rose garden. The rhododendrons were not blooming, unfortunately. Still, this is an enjoyable...More

After many visits to Munich, but never making it in the Nymphenburg Botanical Gardens, I decided this time to do it as a had a couple of spare hours. Absolutely NO regret, despite the fact, that the 'greenhouses' are presently under renovation.

All green soothes my feeling and fun to walk into this garden with different plants and some of those are on the verge of extinction.

Great visit to the butterfly house. We lucked out as it had just opened for the day and was not yet crowded. Since it is still Winter, the outside areas are not in bloom so I plan to revisit in Spring.
