Really cute street, apparently Nurnbergs most beautiful street. It is beautiful because the buildings are colorful. There was a huge line for the ice cream shop. You can visit in 5 minutes as it is not a long street. Worth checking out.

Weißgerbergasse is an photogenic tourist street in Nuremburg just north of Maxplatz. What you find here are nearly 20 half-timbered houses which date back to the Medieval period. The houses have been well preserved and restored after WWII air raids.

A walk down Weißgerbergasse provides visitors a glimpse back into the Middle Ages with delightful houses on both sides of the cobblestone street. These would have been occupied by tanners in centuries past. These days you'll find restaurants, bars and galleries filling the houses along Weißgerbergasse.

Even if you are not in the mood for a meal or shoppings. A quick walk up Weißgerbergasse is well worth making time for during visits to Nuremburg.

The location of this site is some 400 metres west from the main city square, Hauptmarkt.
Old timber-framed houses and narrow cobblestone street will take you back centuries ago.
Despite Nuremberg had suffered heavily air raids during WW II, here miraculously 22 family houses survived and today represents one of the must see attractions in the Nuremberg Altstadt.

Just a small amazing area of restored houses that are painted beautiful bright colors with flower boxes below the windows. Between the cobblestone streets below your feet and the charming quaint houses above you, it creates an ambiance that a picture just does not do justice to. Looking back at the pictures we are jealous of those who are fortunate enough to live in these special dwellings. Enjoy.

This curving, lovely, cobbled street is lined by colorful half-timbered houses, which make it look as though it was taken from a fairy tale. It is highly recommended to walk through it.

Charming short street with timber frame houses, some of which survived Allied bombing. Highlights include the coffee shop near the beginning and ice cream shop near the end!

A pearl in the middle of this old town, colorful buildings in the half timbered style... try to get lost in the middle of this German scenario...

A major photographed street in Nuremburg with the cute half-timbered houses. It is quiet and easy to get a shot with no one in it. It is not far from the castle. If you are on the opposite side of the old city, it will take you about 20 minutes to walk to. It will only take you a few minutes to visit.

A nice area to wander while visiting the city. interesting shops and a few restaurants. I took way to many pictures but the old half timber building style is very picturesque.
