This is a beautiful cathedral you must see if you visit the town. It is very dark inside but allow your eyes to adjust.

On our riverboat cruise from Budapest to Amsterdam we saw many beautiful cathedrals. This is one of them. It is impossible (for me at least) to differentiate between many of the cathedral. They are all equally impressive in their own unique way.

The cathedral is typical of the region. It is austere and imposing and well worth a brief visit. Surrounded by other buildings in the centre of town..

It is one of the biggest cathedral I have ever visited. It was partly under constrcution however still very impressive. I may recommend to visit if you are in Regensburg. You can spend some time inside and around the Cathedral.

I loved the stained glass, altar and oh my the organ pipes are just gorgeous. When we exited the cathedral there were people dancing. That had nothing to do with the cathedral I don’t believe.

If you're in Regensburg, you can't miss this cathedral - literally. It dominates the city and all roads lead to it. You have to explore, and it's well worth it, especially if you take time to go inside. A real Gothic Masterpiece that does, indeed,...More
