We had a wonderful experience with Duc. Duc is a great guide and Segway enthusiast. He showed us Augsburg from every angle and gave us a lot of historical information and facts. That was our first experience with Segway. It didn't take us longer than ten minutes of practicing and we were comfortable to ride. This tour definitely exceeded our expectations and I can really recommend it .

It was a very nice way to see the city and also learn how to ride with segways. Our guide was Duc and he always talked about the history in a very interesting way and showed us places that where hidden and normally very hard to find. He explained how to ride with segways very well. He is a very super guide and I realy reccomend to others.

I arranged for my husband to do this tour with 3 American visitors, all over 50
They reported a terrific experience
They had travelled through the town and surrounding areas of Augsburg following different waterways and the river Lech out to the Hochablass, a historical weir in the heart of the Siebentisch forest. Their guide, Lena, was very informative and helpful. They all had a lot of fun and were amazed at the speed of the Segways ( up to 20 km/h) and how easy they were to use. Initial instruction was given and safety helmets were provided. They felt it was also good value for money considering the length of the tour (3 hours including instruction) and the wide range of interesting locations they visited

Our group of friends took this tour as a novel way to see the city. There was plenty of practice before hand with plenty of time for instruction. The tour guide had never done a tour in English, so there was a little bit of profanity, which was funny due to bad translation. Great pieces of information given whilst seeing some stunning sites. Definitely a great and interactive way to site see.

We did both - the classic tour and the Wassertour with Duc. Duc is very knowledgeable and explains Augsburg's sights very well. It's informative and fun. He knows special and secret places. The Wassertour is exceptionally beautiful and we had a lot of fun just driving the Segways. Duc also explains how to safely use the Segway in a great way. It's easy and very enjoyable. Nobody should miss this experience.

I had an excellent tour with Stephan as my guide. The tour was the right mix of sightseeing and local historical information. The city of Augsburg is very picturesque and I could not think of a better way to see the city. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of taking this trip.

Great morning's fun, lasted nearly 4 hours including the practice in the yard. Lena was brilliant and although the talks should have been in German, she gave us plenty of info in English as well, which she speaks beautifully.
Don't hesitate to give it a try, it really is simple riding the Segway, it was our first time and I am 66!

We are glad that you've enjoyed the tour with Lena although is was in both languages and therefore not as detailed as usual. It was an exception as we usually only have single language tours. But the group was lucky that there were no other tours that day so that Lena could extend the tour to 4 hours (otherwise it's 3 hours including the safety briefing).

This is the best Segway tour I have ever been on! It was 3 hours and covered ALL of the main sights in Augsburg. Great introduction to the city as a way to see more the next day, or great way to see the city if you only have one day. The guide (Lena) was amazing and very information. Her English was impeccable! I would def recommend this to anyone visiting Augsburg. The segways were very nice/new and helmets are available for no extra charge.

there is no better way to explore the city of Augsburg. You get much more scenic views, you can breathe the city and are in much more contact than just sitting in the usual tour buses, I enjoyed it very much!

Hi, how old do you have to be to do the tour? My daughter is 10, is she old enough to ride the Segway?

There is a new law in Germany for electronic verhicles which allows everyone from the age of 14 and a body weight between 45 kg and 117 kg (100 lb and 258 lb) to ride a Segway.
