If you are traveling between Nuremberg and Stuttgart, stop in Dinkelsbuhl, A beautiful quaint town with an absolutely beautiful and well worth seeing St. George Church. It is a wide-aisled late Gothic church, built in 1448-1499. Lots of nice carvings and artifacts.

This is the largest hall church in Germany - which means the side aisles are the same height as the nave. Withstanding "baroqueification" to a remarkable degree and other styles of different eras, it remains very clean. Reminding of French gothic cathedrals.

It's amazing to think about how something of this beauty and size was built many years ago. I have a true appreciation for the artisans. So beautiful inside, very quiet...a wonderful place to reflect upon life
