Located just outside the wall is a lovely find. Look off one side and you see the countryside. On the other you get a great picture of the wall and interior city. Nothing is in bloom this time of year but there are benches on which to sit and relax. There are also bathrooms located here.

Located on the periphery of the wall, go through an old gate to access the Burggarten. A nice place to stroll and relax and get some quiet time. A perfect balance of nature inside Rothenburg. Get a nice view of the valley from the garden. Nice place for photographing nature. Big chestnut tree along the pathwalk.

This is a great garden area to take a leisurely walk. Often there will be someone playing music in the garden and you can just relax on a bench and listen. Be sure to check out the gardener's cottage.

We loved this garden. Go through the castle gate to find it. It was pretty and things were still blooming even though we were there in late September. We popped into one of the buildings and the walls had frescoes on them. Surprising. The views are good from the garden. You can see down into the valley. You can see... More

The Burggarten is a peaceful and beautiful oasis only a stone's throw from the Old Town. The park itself is beautiful, with many gardens, statues and pathways, and there are plenty of opportunities to take pictures of Rothenberg. A great rest stop.

Thanks to reading TA reviews, we made sure we found the Buggarten and we're not disappointed. The perfect place for a rest or a picnic.

Beautiful place to visit in this charming town. It is a relaxing place to spend an hour or so during the day, perhaps after walking the walls of the town. It offers great views of the valley and Rothenburg.

One of the many musts if you do visit rothenburg it's a magical place where greenery meets a spectacular view, a place that will take hours of your time gazing endlessly at a perfect portrait, I almost didn't go there now I'm happy I did , so enjoy the true meaning of relaxation and meditation
