Beautiful church on the inside, rather on the plain side, but due to its size well worth a visit. Including carving and paintings.

Built in the 11th century at the burial site of the Irish monk, St. Kilian. He was an apostle of the Franks who was murdered here in 689 AD along with his companions. The interior was beautiful.

This church has a very nice decoration and settings, it´s definitely a part of the To-Do list of Würzburg. I won´t spoil the history too much, as you may appreciate to discover/read it yourself inside.
