Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We walked here from the Reichstag through the Großer Tiergarten which was pleasant, quiet and peaceful on a warm sunny Sunday morning in August recently. We viewed this official resident of the German President trying to decide whether the flags fluttering in the breeze meant that he was in residence or not. Actually the Presidential Standard was flying but that does not necessarily mean that he is in residency...
The Bellevue (French for "Beautiful View") Palace is an impressive building and all the more remarkable for no apparent showing of security. We sat on a park bench for 15 minutes or so, took our photographs and wondered at the number of tourist busses that passed by. Eventually we felt the need to continue on to our next destination on our walking tour - the Victory Column just a little further down the road.

During a walk through Berlin I also passed Bellevue Palace. Very nice sight, but unfortunately I had no access. However, the weather was also too nice to stay in rooms. I preferred to go for a walk outside.

Bellevue Palace is the Residence of the German president. The neoclassic building has been almost competely destroyed during World War II. After the unification it is the main residence of the German president. It is possible to visit the palace via a guided tour (in German) together with the Office of the Federal President. Since only few tours are offered each month, you need to request to be added a while before though (also possible for individual visitors). The email can be found on the German version of the president's webpage clicking through Amtssitze->Schloss Bellevue->E-mail senden. You will get to see all state rooms of the palace, including the office of the president. In Summer you will have a small quick view on the gardens as well. In the end you get coffee and snacks. The tour itself is free of cost (I participated already in two tours, and it was a similar procedure both times).
If you cannot enter a tour, you can still have a view from outside of the gates. The palace is just 200 m away from Siegessaeule.

We stumbled upon it while walking from Victory Column to Bellevue. Such a beautiful and magnificent presidential building, and so PEACEFUL despite being too exposed to people's sight(just like Buckingham Palace)! Regarding security, it's not that there weren't guards available; in fact, we've got to see them, they just come and go through the building, so discreet that you get the feeling that they don't want to scare you, loved the landscape also, might as well be the White House of Berlin

We went passed the Bellevue Palace during the HOHO bus tour. It is an attractive looking white painted official residence of the President of Germany located in Tiergarten Park district.
I liked the manicured lawn.

This is the official residence of the President of Germany. It has very well kept grounds with many monuments on the grounds and on top of the building.

The Schloss Bellevue / Presidents palace is beautiful. Peaceful and discreetly located between the Reichstag and Victory monument and next to the 'pregnant oyster'. This is a beautiful bustling with nice garden / lawn in front which you can hop to on the 100 bus and walk very close to.

Bellevue Palace on the banks of the River Spree in Berlin-Tiergarten is the official residence of the President of Germany. This white neoclassical palace was all but destroyed during WWII, with only the Oval Saal (Oval Office) being original. What you see today was reconstructed on 1959, complete with round arched windows and the side wings. Originally built in 1786 as a hunting Lodge for Prince Ferdinand of Prussia, but it has also served as a school and a Reich guesthouse in 1939. The actual Presidents office is located south of the Palace in a black and glass new building that is easier to protect.
TIP: Go early in the summer to catch the building in the early sunlight.

Hello what are the entry fee and opening hours to visit this palace? :D

I haven't been inside; it is the official residence of the President of Germany,so it can't be visited like a regular museum with tickets and entrance hours;you have to register yourself online months in advance by accessing the official site of the establisment (Schloss Bellevue) as guided tours are organized only on certain days and I think there is no entrance fee;
