This is an excellent way to chat to a local, find out what it’s like to live in Berlin, experience some unusual neighbourhoods and sample some food that you’d never find by yourself - off the beaten track! Tiago was an interesting, informative and warm guide.

We had such a great experience with Elena! She lives in the neighborhood and was clearly proud to share her home with visitors. It felt like an insider glimpse of a special area of Berlin. Great food and conversation in a small group— we had a wonderful time and it was the perfect finishing touch to our time in Germany.

We had an absolute amazing time enjoying the fusion of street art, history, conversation, and of course, incredible food. Tiago was simply excellent, full of knowledge, and guided us to numerous tastes and sites we would never have found on our own. We highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour with Hogar (not exactly sure about the spelling). He took on a food tour in an area that we would not have gone to on our own. The food was filling and delicious but he also served up healthy portions of context as to how the food got there. The intertwined history of the area, the waves of immigrants and how they adapted to what was already there was fascinating. Now we know why there are empty beer bottles placed under the trash receptacles.

Will was an excellent tour guide! We saw and learned so much about the area that we couldn’t have on our own. The food was fantastic. From the vegan treat at the beginning (can’t have lactose) to the currywurst at the end and everything in between, it was all amazing. Highly recommend!
