I was suppose to write this AGES ago (I'm so sorry Rob!). I had the tour with Rob and he was an amazing guide. First he gave us a very detailed tutorial on how to navigate on a segway. After that, he took us through the history of the Berlin wall and a few key areas, including checkpoint Charlie. He... More

We had a tour in December and were delighted with the adventure. Dave the Australian took our tour and was very knowledgeable, clear and experienced. He went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed our adventure. You get to have a good ride too as you are given some freedom to get to speed. Definitely recommend and it's cheap... More

My daughter and I were going to do a walking tour of Berlin and then a friend said you two have been on segways before, save your legs and go on this tour. We did and found it to the best thing we did in Berlin. You do not have to have used a segway before as prior to starting... More

We've recently returned from a 12 stop trip around Europe and this is definitely one of our highlights! The segways enable you to cover a lot more ground than a typical walking tour so if you can afford it it's definitely the best way to see the city. As others have mentioned it's only 15 mins or so to master... More

Firstly this is a great way to see the city and great fun to do. The guide was very informative and gave us lots of information about each place we visited. You get to practice on the Segway before being let loose on the street and it takes about 10-15 minutes to get used to them. We booked this as... More

Under our amazing tour guide Walid, we had a fantastic time on this tour. His outstanding and comical telling of the history was both informative and entertaining.. The tour was limited to 8 people which allowed everyone to get some training on the Segways beforehand... Would 100% recommend this tour as a great way to see some of the sights... More

Had limited time and dislocated toe so opted to the Segway tour! Easy to book online, easy to find and then easy to use! The tour guide Marriette was very friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this company as nothing was too much trouble! Will be looking out for them in other cities in the future! Thanks guys

Riding the segway was indeed a nice experience. Much more easy than first thought. The guide was very good, had a good speed and was very careful about safety. We also booked ahead, and the process and payment was without trouble. Recommend this.

We did the classic city tour with our hilarious and informative guide Walid. I was a bit apprehensive being 55 yrs and not too coordinated but it was a piece of cake. Our initial briefing was really good and felt safe at all times. My only downfall was I froze but that was my fault. Make sure you dress warmly... More

In my humble opinion the best way to see the sites of Berlin. Walid was informative, funny and with his love of Iron Maiden made our tour unforgettable and our first stay in Berlin perfect. Would highly recommend this to anybody.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
