Take pictures of the Brandenburg gate, lots of people. Right near all the embassys. Close to the Holocaust memorial and parliament. Definitely something to see in Berlin

You just can't pass by and not stop at the immensity of the Brandeburg Gate. Day and mostly night,take your time to admire this beautiful symbol of the capital and its history.

This gate is probably one of the most iconic landmarks in Berlin, and it really is worth a visit. It looks very impressive even from far off.

We visited gate during our trip 4 times in total once in the dark. Amazing. Toilets are close as is the bus stops. We use buses number 100, 200 from ZOO. Same bus take us to Alexanderplatz and museum island.

Perfect photo op! This is a great sight, very spacious streets surround this so you can easily grab a photo without others in it! A lot of tours start from this location so you can jump on one of those!

As the others have said there's no need to take a tour. We walked from our hotel to soak up the atmosphere and history and used our guide books and maps . There are numerous information boards around in different languages... More

It looks like Easter is a great time to visit Germany, since Easter is one of their most celebrated holidays. Many events and special markets and decorations. I wouldn't worry about that.
