This is a huge old fashioned but really classy department store. We mainly visited the food department on the 6th floor. There is everything you can think of from all over the world. There are also lots of really nice food stalls which seem to...More

Fantastic store over 7 floors. The choice of goods and brands was amazing. And the food hall on the 6th floor is a sight to behold, with the variety of fresh foods unsurpassed anywhere we have been. Take a break to enjoy some of the...More

Amazing shopping icon of Berlin. Second largest department store in Europe. Very expensive, frantic pace, so many people. Not a pleasant experience really, has not got the class of Harrods nor the friendly helpful staff. Take it or leave it, not a must see.

Our annual visit to the Christmas Market in Berlin always includes a visit to KaDeWe. Until now a wonderful experience, however, on this visit the most noticeable change was the attitude of the staff. Unhelpful and very, very rude and not just in one department...More

If you enjoy forcing your way through throngs to shop for bargains of designer wares, this is for you. Well worth while in a compact format, with most of the major luxury brands. A bit out of town but easy to get to.

In 1963, Schöneberg was the centre of the political

past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating
back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while
