Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Cool alternative place. Lots of beautiful street art. In the building behind it there is a nice studio that makes beautiful prints for bags, t-shirts and the like. There is also a bar where you can have a drink.

The host was very welcoming and helpful! Free audio guides and free entry... Located in what I think is the coolest, most pleasant neighborhood in Berlin (A short walk from Alexanderplatz). The museum has tons of history and stories inside. It is fun to wander into the small alley courtyards after seeing the museum as well! Worth finding and not crowded with tourists.

This hidden backyard stands as a reminder of the old Berlin. After the Berlin wall fell, this area became one of the most alternative spots of the city with most places abandoned and a lot of space for artists to be creative. Nowadays this area has become one of the more expensive parts of the city and all houses have been renovated, the area has been gentrified. Only this house has not changed. It belongs to a group of people whos goal is to keep it the way it is. They renovated it recently, but without changing the facades. So when you enter this place, it feels like you're stepping back in time. There are 3 museums in here, one about Otto Weidt, who saved Jewish people from the Holocaust in his small factory, one about Anne Frank and one about "Silent Heroes" - people like Otto Weidt. Additionally you find a nice little café - the Cafe Cinema, a bar in the back ("Eschloraque") and a little movie theater as well as some small shops. Underneith the second yard is the "Monsterkabinett", a sort of gallery/showroom full of weird monster robots that you can visit. Oneof the last authentic places in this area!

I'm an artsy type of person from an eastern country and the total explosion of creativity that is to be found in this "Haus" is just .... so fantastic. The graffiti, the people, the small movie theater, the geigeresque bar.... it's perfect. I revisited this place 5 times while i was there and I am really surprised that there are so few reviews about it.

This is an awesomely preserved alternative art scene in the heart of a now very modern developed neighborhood. Worth a walk thru. Also the Monsterkabinet is in this building, go into it if it's open! Free to walk thru the courtyard but Monsterkabinet is a few euros to go in.

Haus Schwarzenberg is a location and an independent association for culture. it hosts a three galleries, an art shop, a cocktail bar, a cinema, ateliers for artists, a clothing inventor atelier, several bureaus.
what is perhaps very interesting, is the shop called neurotitan:
the shop is filled with experimental music from noise to click+cut, hardstep, atonal, minimal. it is one of the very few places in berlin, where you can get this kind of sound in this kind of variety. it is also known for the comics (serigraphy, underground, artcomics). no marvel, no manga. collection of berlin based design books, mags, of arty stuff and of things, you have never seen before and will not be able to see somewhere else.
in the back rooms is the gallery neurotitan, featuring different styles of exhibitions of mostly young artists. there are also shows or concerts or performances once in a while.
if you wanna go for a drink check out the cocktail bar, designed by the metalmachine-artist group dead chickens. but beware - the "door" is known to be very moody. could be you get in without problems - could be that the next day you will not be allowed to enter.
and check out- for the rainy days - the program of the cinema. it is featuring very good and high-quality movies.
so i give this place 5 stars in this area of berlin *****

This is a relatively small 'courtyard' with tons of street art - in so many forms - on the walls. One of the must-see street art stops in Berlin.

It is the spot for street art, graffitis, and non-pretentious galleries. This, as well as a cosy cafe called Cinema made it a very satisfying experience for us.

Cafe Cinema at the entrance was a nice place to sit and have as a base while exploring the streetart.
Selvrealisering tours passed the spot in a hustle, while we had the time to view both
