Nice historic stadium
Mar 2020
I was at the Olympiastadion and the Olympiapark together with my brother to watch a football game - the last one before lockdown. As football fans, but no association with one of the teams it was a nice experience to visit this historic site. It is nice to see, how such an old stadium still is used for todays sporting events and is able too feature VIP lounges and everything. Good thing, it wasn't too cold anymore, neither did it rain.

Amazing

The stadium is very pretty and nice architecture. The first experience is intimidating because of the train and being alone in a huge city but again be prepared for a crowded S Bahn or U Bahn or wait behind. The staff was friendly and it was nice to walk around before the match. The Hertha BSC fans are extremely friendly and are very open for discussion or help. Watched Schalke, and Mainz both rough matches to watch but the fans made the experience fantastic. I am so happy to have gone here and experienced the atmosphere and become and honorary Hertha BSC Fan. I would love to get a tour when I return to Berlin. Danke Freunds. #hahohe von die USA

Nice to wander around
Aug 2020
It was fairly quiet when we visited, which gave us plenty of time to walk around the stadium by ourselves - they also do guided tours which take you to some other areas that are normally not accessible. Interesting history and architecture.

Insightful guide giving you the history of this iconic building
Aug 2020
Great informative guide gave you all the history of the stadium you needed to know. The stadium is steeped in history and a behind the scenes glimpse too. Only comment was it felt a bit rushed when in the stadium and would have been good to have had more time for photos en route

Historic
Sep 2020 • Solo
Must see for any sports fan, interesting blend of the original stadium (‘36 Olympics) and the new (‘06 WC). Probably more history than the average stadium given the surrounding history of the 1936 Olympics which, although awarded to Berlin in 1931, was heavily used by the Nazis to try and push their own propaganda. Current home to Hertha Berlin although given current restrictions (understandably) no chance to see a game at present.

Beautiful building. Audio tour was informative. Bit of a way out on metro but worth it. Good value for money.

Tim was a fantastic guide.
Aug 2020
My husband and I booked a tour online through Visit Berlin which was hosted by Tim.
The tour lasted approximately one hour and gave an insight into the history of the stadium and the many games that have taken place there.
This tour also allowed access (with the guide) to the VIP areas, players changing rooms and the warm up area. After the tour finished visitors were allowed to walk around the stadium freely.
Tim was incredibly knowledgable and made the experience really interesting.
