Being history buffs with a particular interest in WW2 we were keen to include the Berlin Unterweltden on our itinerary. We did two tours consecutively: Tour 3 (Subways and Bunkers during the Cold War), then Tour 1 (Dark Worlds). This is clearly a popular tourist attraction - the ticket line was long and the group sizes were frankly too big... More

an excellent tour with a great and engaging guide! we did the cold war bunker tour which wasn't too gruelling emotionally but very interesting. read loads of reviews about issues getting tickets but we went on a weekday and not during any holidays so turned up at 10.45 (tours start at 11) and there were loads of tickets left! I... More

Did tour 1 and it was much better than expected. From the outside it doesn't look much. From the inside it was a very informative tour, given by a very knowledgeable German archaeologist. Superb. A broad talk, not only about the use of the shelter during WW2. Highly recommended.

We did tour 3, which is subways and bunkers in the Cold War. I really enjoyed it. We went underground into two bunkers. It was super interesting. An intriguing look into what could have been. It was a little creepy, but I liked that. Our guide was fun and intelligent. This tour is fine for families with kids, we had... More

We tried to book tickets online before we went but that was not possible. We then decided to go there the day before to buy the tickets for the next day but also not possible. We were told by a not so friendly lady that you could only buy tickets on the day. We arrived the next day but by... More

The Dark World tour is fantastic ! Our guide showed the different parts of an Air raid shelter and explained the horrors that Berlin's inhabitants had to endure under the English and American bombings (as did the Netherlands/Belgian/Polish/French/... under Hitler's air-raids). In the "bunker" (actually not really a bunker as it wasn't/isn't really bomb-proof) a lot of artefacts and illustrations... More

We did tour 1. The only downside is that you are unable to book this tour online beforehand. You have to personally go to the venue and book your tickets. We got there in time for the tour but the tickets were all sold out for the tour we wanted to go on so opted for another one a couple... More

We did tour 1. Excellent guide who shared so much information with genuine enthusiasm. Learned a lot and was interesting to get perspective of war from an ordinary German viewpoint. Good value!

Our guide was a talker. He was good, but was talking pretty fast and it was pretty crowded so hard to follow. The bunkers itself are pretty impressive and the story around it gives you the chills. It meanly covers the cold war.
