Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We sort of stumbled on this place having been in Franken right across the street beforehand.
It was an €8 entry fee. We walked down a long hallway to the main bar and dancefloor area. Drinks were reasonably priced at €3.50 for most beers. Think cocktails were around €4.50 / €5. Service was good.
We quickly found out that it was the 'Balkanska' themed night,- The DJ was playing a mix of Balkan / Indian / Turkish pop songs. It's a million miles from what we would normally listen to but it was just great, infectious, music. The crowd was diverse and really friendly, everyone was just dancing and having a great time. We had such a fun night. There was absolutely no smoking allowed in the main bar / dancefloor area but we did discover it had a lounge bar on the right of the main entrance where smoking was permitted.
We will definitely be coming back here on our next trip to Berlin! Also, there's a little Pizzeria named 'Oregano' right across the street where we went for food after. The Chicken and Mushroom pasta dish was just delicious and the Pizza was amazing also.

Went to SO 36 as my friend worked at the till one night. Owner was lovely Turkish/German lady and welcomed me in and gave us free drinks. Pretty big and nice club you got there. I was so surprised about the fact that they do also LGBT events and no one is discriminated there. No matters what race, sex or nationality or what so ever you are, you are welcomed in! Had a really nice time, I love Turkish dance music though. Besides they had live band playing and singing as well. Nice place to go! Thanks for experience.

Cheap beer, cheep shots, loud music, dirty toilets - that is the reason to visit. Dont go there for fancy drinks or hip music, you will find nothing except amazing people and pure fun! Dance till your pants fall off ...

The SO36 is a concert club with live performances on Oranienstrasse near Heinrichplatz in the area of Kreuzberg in Berlin, Germany. I saw an excellent concert by Agnostic Front and had a wonderful time.

... or German CBGB. So it was one of historical sites worth visiting while in Berlin. There is a lot of history (or "sense" of history) lingering over this place, knowing that German punk was born here and Iggy Pop and Bowie used to visit the club. This part of Oraniestrasse has also its charm (full of bars and with famous Max und Moritz eateryin the vicinity).
The occasion for visit was almost very special: London punk band 999, with almost the same line-up as in 1976 (except for bassist).
Deep and narrow venue with intimate atmosphere and dimly lit low scene, so that Nick Cash and Guy Days almost kicked my i-phone of my hands during the first songs. Densely placed loudspeaker on which Londoners had put playlists left little place four our beer glasses or bottles. One of my dearest gigs ever, so cool, I had eye contact with Nick Cash, he turned the mic to the audience several times, and once I, too, shouted something into the microphone. .
Kristal weiss beer was excellent, even served with a slice of lemon and in a real glass (deposit is as usual in Germany in such venues 1 eur when you return the glass), toilets are like in good hotels, and it was obvious that audience loved 999 guys and vice versa.
Through British punk band from 1976 the gig was so a kind of a travel into the past.
I am looking forward to coming again.

Fabulous venue to see live music; bar staff and prices were great! Crowd was excellent, the room has great a great sound! The only down side to this venue was the very poor attitude of the door staff! From someone who has done doors for 26 years my advice would be find another career as your not cut out to talk and look after the public!!

Its Not a Restaurant. Its an Institution of Berlins Punkrock glory and it has been for decades. This is the Place where it all started......They have Concerts and parties so check out their Programm. I am Not sure Why it is listed As a Restaurant but dont expect any Food apart from our famous liquid bread.

Went to see metal band Iced Earth there. Good sound systems and ok drink prices. The venue is kind of a pipe so when it’s sold out moving around must be a mess...

Went there for an 80s party, and it was as fun as you could expect from that kind of party in Berlin. Good beer (reasonably priced) and good atmosphere, would definitely recommend for a night out in Kreuzberg.

Hello - does anyone know if our 11 year-old daughter can come to an event at SO36? (thinking about New Model Army this Summer, (Jul-2020)?

Salve. Se c'è un concerto si può comunque entrare e bere qualcosa o bisogna pagare il biglietto anche se non si è interessati all'evento?
Grazie.
