Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

James Simon Park is located in the Berlin Mitte between the Friedrichs Bridge and the Stadtbahn. You can admire Berlin Cathedral from there.
James Simon (1851–1932) was a German-Jewish entrepreneur and art collector. He donated most of his significant collections to the Berlin State Museums, including the famous Nefertiti bust.
The previously unnamed green space was redesigned in the 2000s and named after James Simon on May 23, 2007, on the 75th anniversary of his death.

Berlin has gone crazy with political correctness. One of the best parks in Berlin which should be named after someone that promotes pride and celebration.

Small park bordering Spree River, with Museum Island on opposite side. Has nice view of Pergamonmuseum, Alte Nationalgalerie, and Berliner Dom. What stands out is one neat sculpture of two boys, armadillo, bust of man, and bird.

Walking out of the busy and bustling Hachescher Markt you come out onto James Simon Park which is a favourite park of mine.
The park is awesome, under the railway spans there's Innumerable pubs, bars and restaurants, in the Summer time they have lots of deck chairs outside were you can chill out with a beer and take in the stunning views of the famous Berliner Dom and Museum Island, it's a really popular park with locals and tourists alike, I think partly due to it's great central location and the views afforded from this park of some of Berlins most famous sites.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

We passed this park on our morning runs and went here in the evening to just sit, drink and relax. Great location and atmosphere. Live music also from people just bringing their guitar and microphone. Several bars and restaurants nearby, and it seems to be ok to bring your own drinks also.

James Simon Park is a lovely little park area that is a favourite with tourists and locals alike.
It's location away from the hustle and bustle of Hackescher Markt is an ideal spot to just chill out in one of the little bars on the edge of the park and take in the stunning views of the River Spree and the magnificent Berliner Dom and Museum Island.
We are currently in Berlin for a 10 day holiday, with temperatures hitting the 37 degree mark in August and it's just so nice having a cold beer in a bar and just chilling out, it's relaxing watching the tour boats floating by.
The Park area is we kept and there's some interesting statues here .
James Simon Park is easy to locate on Burgstraße.
A great little park and well worth checking out.

Afternoon, sunset, evenings, I love this park. You have one of the best views looking out over the Spree, Berlin Cathedral and Museum Island. There are nearby restaurants offering Biergarten Chairs beverages, and the atmosphere is extremely chilled with everyone relaxing and a musician or 2 setting the mood. Love it.
