Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I regularly fly into Bremen on my way to visit my parents. Unfortunately I have never had time to see any of it except for the airport to the tram and then the train station. This trip I stayed three nights at the Mieninger hotel, just a block away from the Central train station and main bus and tram stops. I did a self guided tour of some of the old parts of the city including the Schnoor, where I enjoyed a piece of cake and a coffee. On my last day there I spent the day touring the interactive Univerum.

From the main Marktplatz, opposite direction from the Town Hall walk southwards where you'll see an arched gateway with a golden plaque above it. That's the beginning of the old merchant street Bottcherstrasse.
At a first glance the street looks like many others in downtown, made entirely of red bricks. It is very narrow, so look up to admire the architecture of these buildings. At the ground level there are many bars, restaurants and a terrific candy shop.

Little Butcher Street was built in the 1920s. This 110 metre-long lane houses shops and restaurants, museums, workshops and a carillon.

This is a pleasant street to spend a while walking down. It is narrow and lined with historic buildings. Two tips, first walk from the old town hall as you may miss the gold wall plaque walking the other way. Second, look up at the buildings.

Charming piece of the city with nice shops. Gives a cosy feeling to walk here. You can follow metal dots in the street for a walk through the whole old city.

This narrow street is located in the medieval heart of Bremen, but completely newly built in the 1930's in local brickwork. The shops and offices located in artistic architecture contain artisanal shops and the Tourist Information Office.

Wow! This felt like a magical street from a movie. Old, beautiful! Music from the walls, stores, museum. Best attraction of the city!

Interesting street. Some unique shops around and also hotels. The oldest building in this street is the Ludwig Roselius Musem.

A must visit in Bremen.

Lovely short street with amazing looking houses with historical connections. Worth looking up to truly appreciate the buildings.
