All reviews christmas market market place watch the world roland statue in december beautiful square stalls selling centre of town christmas decorations food stalls the main square around the corner bars and restaurants very nice place cup of coffee peter's cathedral bremen town musicians
Nice views of the UNESCO World-Heritage Rathaus, the Cathedral and other buildings, especially nice when the markets are on. If the weather is bad the "Markthalle 8" next to it is a good option for food.
This is the main square surrounded by beautiful buildings.
Stop and take some photos, be it rain or shine.
We were there at Christmas, so the Christmas markets were on. It was cold and rainy, but still worth the visit.
It is a big square in the centre of Bremen, you can say it the main square that is surrounded by beautiful buildings. When you stand in the middle of the square and just make one full round, you will see the beauty of Bremen.
In a historic and beautiful setting. Stalls were filled with food, including fresh fruit - but for me the German "fast food" was wonderful. Lots of merchandise and happy people. Public transportation makes Marktplatz easy to get to from anywhere in the city.
This is truly the essence of Bremen. Beautiful architecture, fun shopping and amazing restaurants. Whether you are here in the summer or at christmas when the christmas market fills the place, you’ll have an amazing time.
