Every display engaged the mind and invited visitors to touch. From the sand/water delta table on the top floor to the electricity and magnetism exhibits we were captivated.

The vast egg (or clam?) lies tilted on a grassy verge in the university area of Bremen, gleaming tantalisingly. The entrance is through a blocky building across the street, connected by a sort of aerobridge that looks like an afterthought. Within are three floors that...More

Excellent choice for a family with teenagers. Everything was thoughtfully planned, interactive and very-very interesting! We spent about 3,5 hours indoors and 1 hour outdoors. The earthquake room was awesome!

Our son(5) enjoyed the stay at the Universum Bremen very much! The staff knew a lot about the different installations and it has been a lot of fun to try them out during this rainy day.

We spent more than half a day exploring the science museum. It was interesting and had so many interactive exhibits. I'm a keen scientist but my husband is not, however we both really enjoyed our day. A must if staying in Bremen.
