If you love modern art you should definitely visit this place. There is some historical exhibits in nearby halls. One thing that made us uncomfortable was that we were the only ones visiting and caretakers were walking by our sides and looking really mistrustly. like...More

Next to nice paintings by Paula Modersohn Becker, there was a very nicely composed exhibition Schlaf (Sleep) of work by a variety of artists from Munch to Warhol. Continues to February 4th 2018.

Yes, there are stairs at this venue. The small exhibit space showed some world class artwork. Don't miss this fine art space.

Interesting museum about a local impressionist local painter. It's a bit expensive regarding the size of the place. Beautiful building.

After climbing the spiral stairs to each floor, there were not many paintings to see on each floor. I did enjoy the paintings available. This gallery needs an elevator.

Good, but the Bremer Kunsthalle offered more quality paintings by Paula Modersohn-Becker. Also, they forgot to mention that if you visited the Kunsthalle as well, there would be a price reduction.

This is a quite small but very nice museum that is worth visiting both for the art and the building itself that is interesting. A drawback if you are not able to read German is that only a very brief folder is in English.

As a local especially, I love this museum since it is about an artist who is from this area. I do like the art in it, and it's an unexpected museum to find in the middle of a small, usually busy road. Definitely worth a...More
