Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This place appeared here thanks to the ruler's love for other places and his desire to visit them, but the inability to leave his home. He built this place as an opportunity to somehow visit the desired places.
Low rating due to the fact that a long journey here did not meet expectations for impressions. This historic place looks interesting, but small.

When you see this you assume it's real. It was made to look like a Norman wall so the views could be seen from the Palace. Very unusual and worth a visit

These ruins show the scars of time as well as World War II, but are well worth the short hike up to see them. The view of the Sanssouci Palace from the top is quite lovely as well.

Hidden from the main attraction, inside the nice park. Artificial construction inspired by Roman style, served as water reservoir for nearby gardens and fountains.

These artificial ruins were built for Frederick II. artificial as they are, they are still very beautiful and are worth walking to the top of the hill to see. Especially because as you turn around you can see the back of the Sansucci palace. This park is also very scenic and was a very nice walk here

The Romans never really came to Potsdam, so finding a Roman "ruin" is rather surprising. Surprising that is until you find out that it's actually designed to look like a ruin, as part of a construction for an aqueduct. You can catch a glimpse of this "ruin" from Sansoucci.
