Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I am very disappointed with my visit! I came here expecting to see film studio’s, tours, many props and costumes from different movies but was brutally disappointed. Sure, the corona virus has played a part in the performance of the movie park but they could have made more of an effort! The only thing that was open was the German ‘sandmännchen’ museum, a museum with props and costumes, a few movie backgrounds and there was a movie set tour which had a super long line and only took 30 people at a time. There were also a few attractions for children that were open! These attractions were all very fun and intriguing however I couldn’t go on the set tour which I had most looked forward to since they only took 30 people at a time. I am never coming back. I came here expecting to spend at least 3-4 hours there but it turns out I saw the whole park in 45 minutes. We came as a family of three, however there were families that were way larger than ours that must have spent a fortune on the tickets for basically nothing. And on top of that there was a €4 parking fee which could only be payed cash (no pin). I’m so disappointed!

A scam is the most precise description of this park. Am not exaggerating.
The park is merely a small theme park themed around the history of the Babelsberg film studios. It is not the actual studios and doesn’t even offer a tour of the neighboring legendary Babelsberg studios or backlots. The park unashamedly exploits the brand of the Babelberg Studios but offers merely a few run-of-the-mill rides, shows, and themed areas. Tickets are of course priced in the expensive range. Personally, I wouldn’t go even it was free of charge.
The food is naturally also the lowest quality fast food you can find, it’s basically uneatable, and of course also sold at very premium prices. The park’s ethos is clearly that when first you’ve scammed the audience to pay the entrance fee then scam them some more.
The horrid experience can be summed up by the park’s “Caligari” house. The outside of the building gives promise of experiencing German cinematic expressionism. Go inside and it’s fundamentally a warehouse where they stuffed in a handful of cheap cinematic merchandise completely unrelated to anything. Here you’ll find on display a cheap figurine of Indiana Jones, a copy of Alien’s head etc. The kind of stuff you can buy on Amazon for a few hundred bucks a piece.
Don’t go until this place is run professionally.

Very disappointing and overpriced. The stunt shows were mainly a lot of noise with very stupid storylines and uninspired acting. By 4.30 all the rides activities had shut down. The playground, gold panning, restaurants and sets were nice, it was clean, but way too overpriced for the experience.

dissapointing park, especially when you know Disneyland Orlando or LA. or any american amusement park.
Clean bathrooms, but the park is very little, made for young teenagers or little ones. Just a few shows, I guess they lack imagination or it is me.. My children (13) liked some of the attractions, the waiting time is very high and everything looks alike.
It is quite expensive (family card for 4 for 60 euros) I did not like it!

Booked tickets on line for 20 euros (22 euros at the gate) Tickets are not date specific. Lots of stuff to look round but the shows are the best bit. Stunt Show was better than I remember. Also, new Western Show - this was in German so we missed a lot but plenty of slapstick. Stunt Show has lots of seating - get to Western Show in food time to make sure you get in. Programme given to us at the gate in English. Lots of food places - we had pancakes. From Berlin to to Babelsberg S Bahn station then come out and go to bus stop on the left on the other side of the road and catch 601 or 690 - bus stop outside the filmpark.
