Elegant palace on the edge of Sanssouci Park. Built for crown prince Frederick William and his wife Sissi. The interior design is exquisite. Had to go with a guide who did tour in German and gave us a handout with explanation in English, ( French,...More

Another missable attraction. The architecture is extremely average. It is part of the palace grounds.

This was one of our favourites castles in the area, and with a German-speaking tour guide leading us around, we very much enjoyed seeing the castle's interior. There are some wonderful rooms in the castle, and amazing artefacts and furnishings. Well worth visiting.

This palace is OK, but is plain compared to the other palaces in Sanssouci Park. Tours are only in German. Skip if short on time.

Charlottenhof Palace and the Roman baths are located together on the outskirts of the Sanssouci Park, about a 15-20 minute tiring walk away from the cluster of the main palaces and gardens. On arrival at Charlottenhof Palace walk directly to the ticket office to get...More

This castle is located inside Sanssouci Park, where other 4 palaces and castles were built. Of them all, Charlottenhof seems to be the one that less care gets, as it seems totally left behind and forgoten. It is a pitty as the building is small,...More
