The opera house is truly an iconic building in Hamburg. It’s a must see for all those who are music fans or enjoy such kind of attractions. Not really worth seeing if you have teenagers. Great views from the building of the harbor.

Try and get a ticket to look round the building - no it is booked up for 8 weeks ahead. Try and get to a concert - sorry these concerts are for Hamburg residents only who have paid a lot for this building. Well that’s...More

This newest Hamburg landmark (Jan. 2017) is well worth a visit. We arrived early at opening time, 9:00am, to avoid tour groups, and were able to walk up the 82m curved escalator to reach the Plaza without too many other tourists around. This made it...More

We did not go to this building but when we sat at the beach bar at the Elbe it was always to be seen. We enjoyed the view of it!

Rated this "poor" for two reasons. We got off bus #111 a few steps away but there was long line to enter for the viewing platform and being short on time decided to pass. Being so close to the building meant we could not even...More

Visiting the Elbphilharmonie is very interesting and entertaining. We had a good guide who told us nice details from the building time and also which things weren't planned so good.

We loved it. The building looks as if it just belongs there and has been there ever since. A great piece of design

Besides from being an amazing construction, this place offers a free panoramic view of the city for free. Thanks to its proximity to the harbor you get a nice breeze and amazing view of the harbor and the city.

Maybe you can try your hotel. Sometimes the hotels are buying tickets for performances and then sell them to their guests. Or try the reselling websites. A number of people are "friends of the Elbphilarmonie" and get... More
