Buy a day's HVV ticket for 6.20 Euro, good from 9:00 till next morning. Take Linie 62 to Finkenwerder. You can remain on the boat in Finkenwerder and return, or you can take another ferry across to Teufelsbrueck. If you go from Finkenwerder to Landungsbruecken, you have to leave the boat. A great way to see Hamburg City & Harbour from the Elbe is to use the HADAG number 62 ferry, there are ferries every 15 minutes. Although there is no commentary you do have the option of getting on and off at each stop. We travelled from Landungsbrücken (Brücke 3) to Dockland (Fischereihafen). I use the water ferries to see the area as it is much cheaper than the tour boats that are around 18 euro and not in English anyway. I buy a 6 euro all day tickets after 9am and use it quite a few times during the day on various routes as well as taking the light railway into town... More
