We stayed at the Ameron hotel in the warehouse district and were amazed at the accessibility to pretty much all of the main sights and venues we wanted to visit. The area itself is beautiful and well worth a visit!

Had a pleasant walk here from the ferry pier. Very popular walk with lots of people doing the same thing and good options for coffee on route. Architecture is very interesting to see

This warehouse district is like coming to the old days where shipchandlers occupied the warehouses together with importers of goods. Do take a stop over to visit the Dungeons of Hamburg or a mini trainmuseum and not to forget the international maritime museum which I think is the greatest in the world.

What called my attention the most in Hamburg was the beautiful architecture found everywhere. This neighborhood is no different, and for people who love taking pictures it's a must. One of the postcards of the city.

An example of how a very simple place can represent so much a place's culture. Located between Hamburg's downtown and Hafencity, the new and modern business area of the city.

Each time I visit Hamburg, I return here. It is an integral part of the city. Take a stroll alone or with friends and loved ones. Walk along the bridges and see beautiful architecture that parts the waters. Go to Spicy's spice museum, and check out a part of this districts history and foundation. Stop and have a gander at... Meticulous brickwork in a huge dimension from a bygone era not really that long ago, put to a modern use with one particular, extremely costly addition and a controversial design: the new concert hall just completed with a tenfold cost over-run (sold out, so come back for tickets in about three years) and mounted on top of the old brick... Shame didnt have a lot of time to walk around more leisurely. Very picturesque area. Power walked it with my sister on the last day. Was snowing when we went anyway so didnt wanna stay out too long. Would hv liked to hv visited the cafes and restaurants here.

Very nice place but nicer when it's dark outside and see all the lights lightening up the warehouses. Have to see this place!
