Very interesting architecture in the two main buildings, and the gardens are beautiful (since they were renovated). Across the street are several "landmark" residential buildings from a similar time period.

This is a must place to see for those interested in Art and Architeture . The Artist colony was home to such famous designers as Beter Behrens ; Joserh Maria Olbrich and Albin Muller . This is a large exhibition area with a museum, exhibition hall and the "wedding tower". It also boasts a real consecrated Russian chapel, used by the last Russian Czar who was related to the local gentry in Darmstadt. This is a turistic spot in Darmstadt.... I woud say that it deserves your visit because among the things you can see in Darmstadt, this would be one of the more valuables...
