This is basically a tram that goes around the city and you can watch while you ride along. Don't expect anything extraordinary from either drinks or food but you will be rewarded with an original tram ride through the city and the more or less original environment.

It looks like a kid's train. It serves pretzels and apple juice, and I think also wine and water. It was perfect for us because we went as a family, we did not want to spend too much on a tour, nor did we want to stop at all places that are offered on the city's other tour buses. This... More

We were very excited to see the Ebblewei Express pulling into our tram stop, especially since our walking tour was cancelled at the last minute. We boarded, full of excitement and cheers-ed our first Frankfurter ciders with massive grins on our faces. Before long we were on a tour of Frankfurt's Grey, concrete jungle. There was nothing exciting about the... More

For friends who visit you in Frankfurt, I recommend the Ebbelwei Express. Have fun together! During the one-hour trip there is plenty of time to enjoy the original Frankfurt Apfelwein or Apple juice from Possmann with music and pretzels. A drink is included in the ticket price of 8€. There are also booking options for groups.

How on earth do I describe this attraction? A preserved tram with a twist. It includes apple cider and pretzels as part of the fare (or apple juice or water). It plays piped German drinking music throughout the journey. It has bottle racks with bottle openers on tables between seats. And it is lit with coloured bulbs inside. It travels... More

There is nothing cool about touring the city getting drunk at the same time. It is neither typical German nor typical for Frankfurt. Made for tourists and upnoxious to anyone living here.

Beware, do not take this train if you are looking for a guided tour. It really is just the above ground train where you can drink and sightsee at the same time. You can buy an all-day train pass for less and really see more of the city. There is absolutely no tour information given out on the train. We... More

Most people don't even know about this small train that goes through Frankfurt. It is a funny experience one should have tried it! When you get on the train you get half a litre of German apple cider and some pretzels - the ride begins! See Frankfurt from a different view while enjoying some local specialities.

You can drink here a beer and see the interesting part of the city traveling on that tram. Fantastic idea!

The thing to do is to take it only when it is going in the right direction to a place you want to go to
