There are a lot of shops located here and the buildings are also interesting. If you are in the mood for shopping or spending a few hours walking then this is the place to go.

This seemed to be the central point of Frankfurt. It was one of the busiest areas we visited since there was lots of shopping. We didn't stay very long since we weren't interested in shopping. While in this part of the city watch your belongings and pay attention to those around you.

Underground it is a major station where a few traffic lines merge, upstairs it is the start of the famous shopping street Zeil. Since there is many people around you better take care of your belongings, just in case.

Too many homeless people, too many beggars. Be careful around the ticket machines. Resurrected Hauptwache building nice to look at, but that's it.

One of the busiest areas of the city, right next to Zeil (the main shopping street) and other shopping areas. Make sure you go up the Galerias Kaufhof building to have on top a nice overview of the place.

Very vibey place to shop, watch the passers by and get a feel for the folk of Frankfurt, always interestingly merchandised store windows and a great variety of food on offer.
