I went to this museum on a short weekend trip to Frankfurt to visit a friend as a spur of the moment decision on a slightly gloomy day. It absolutely did not disappoint. The ticket prices for the permanent exhibition were very reasonable (6 euros...More

On a rainy afternoon we called into this museum and spent about 2 hours looking around. It was very interesting especially if you like Marlena Dietrich

Has a museum of the history of film on one level, and film production on the second. The exhibits were fascinating, especially the old pre-film methods of moving images. Also has a couple of cinemas for specialist films. Worth a visit for the film lovers.
