Now an exhibition hall, the location of the church is a perfect meeting spot not far from the market vendors. The building closes at 17h30.

Everything in Frankfurt is so close together.. including St. Paul's Church.. basically all in the Roemer district. You can spend a day in the area .. and bump into everything you need to see.

St Paul's church is one of the many churches in Frankfurt. Church was built in the 1800s and offered a long history.

Yet another nice, old church. I'm not sure how old it is as so much was rebuilt. It is at a good location for tourism.

Took the chance to peek inside the Pauls Church. The circular round painting is impressive and depicts the long and never ending march towards democracy.

Have walked by this building, but we found it open and decided to visit. Inside there is an interesting mural along with some historical photos on the ground floor. Upstairs is okay. It seemed modern and set up for meetings or other. Overall, an interesting...More

This was a good historical site. The exterior is a church, but the interior has been scrubbed of all religious implications. It is a good place to visit for history.

Called the cradle of German Democracy. The mural on the inside is impressive. Is it a celebration or a wake? You decide. The artist Johannes Grutkze has done an excellent job in pointing out the ambivalence about democracy, with all its winners and losers.
