It was fun to climb to the top of the tower. The views from the top are great. If you have a car, parking nearby is free, and the tower itself is also free.

Climb to the top of the tower and enjoy great views of the city. No charge, netting covers the top so you have to maneuver your camera to take photos at the top. Restaurant/beer garden adjacent serving small selection of food & beverages.

This is a nice little walk and when you have made it up you will be rewarded with a view above the trees and towards the skyline of Frankfurt. I give it my recommendation.

This attraction is located away from almost anything else in terms of attractions, so unless you have time or nothing to do, I probably wouldn't add this in to your itinerary. If you do visit, you will enjoy it. The park this is located in is great for the family or couples. It has a slide and water features etc.... More

It's a bit of an effort to climb up the stairs to the top of the tower, but the view of the city centre and surrounding areas is well worth it!

This place looked like deserted long time ago - it was very quite and there is some small maze for kids and small playground. The tower was closed even there was no wind and temperature was 18 degrees. Might be that it is open to public only in summer months - there was no information.

An incredible view on Frankfurt's skyline. Currently in autumn even more beautiful with the coloured leaves. Free to climb the 196 steps and easy to reach with 48 bus from Südbahnhof. Though you can also walk there. There is a playground and a cafe.

We have been here before but finally getting down to writing a review. I think it is a great place for families with kids. Goethe Turm (Goethe Tower) is located in the midst of a large forest (Scheerwald) with many play areas for kids and two beer gardens for adults. The tower itself has over 300 steps and provides a... The tower is situated in a very nice park, we have spent there the whole day with our 3 year old boy. There are plenty of playgrounds, you can hire a bike, have some food or coffee or enjoy the views from the tower. The view itself is nothing spectacular, but it's for free and you get some exercise by... More
