They show a short film which is quite interesting, but after that it's a walk through a room with half a dozen non-working stills then straight into the shop. They charge 2 euros for a tasting and while I was waiting in the queue at...More

We called ahead for a visit and were the only people when we arrived. The staff was very helpful and offered the 20 Minute video in English and German. I’ve always wanted to visit since I was a kid (I grew up near there and...More

Buy Asbach brandy, Lots of history and well set up tour. Great shop with wide variety. Hugo Asbach studied brandy making in France, and he returned later to his home town Rüdesheim/Rhein to become the biggest brandy producer in Germany

Interesting to watch the mowie (German or English) about the story of Hugo Asabch and the distillerie. Of course this is now a modern distillerie. A verry short tour is proposing after the mowie and because to go on the store. Nobody is pushing you...More

We walked what seemed like miles along the river before turning left and reaching the Asbach centre. The film showing at that moment was in German so we were asked to wait. After ten minutes they told us that they were expecting a Danish tourist...More

Disappointing that you no longer visit the actual winery \distillery but still very worthwhile none the less. Cheapest place to buy your asbach uralt and other asbach brandies 3L = 50.25 euro. Really good choice of asbach chocolates too

What a delightful afternoon treat it is to enjoy an Asbach brandy coffee. At the outdoor restaurant, the waitress served my son and I this special treat by demonstrating how to make it. I was scrumptious. And I'm not a coffee drinker!

I believe that they do but tours have to be booked. We were there last week and were shown the film in English and then allowed to wander around at will. You say that you visited many years ago so may not be aware that the... More
